COURSES AND TOPICS OF INSTRUCTION

ONE:  EDP 1001:  Entrepreneurial Dynamics Principles.

This course is designed to provide basic information on the environmental conditions that are necessary for a sustainable enterprising activity to function in a market state.

This course and the other courses in the program are aimed at the following audience. (some of the courses may not apply to some of the target audience):

  • Canadian Private Sector Potential Investors in Africa
  • Canadian Trade Missions in Africa

  • African Diplomatic Community in Canada

TWO: EDRE 1002:Entrepreneurial Dynamics Research Engines.

This course is designed to summarize human resource and internet capabilities for easy use of information to promote trade between the Countries of Africa and Canada.

Computer applications in this course are reduced to push button functions to eliminate the need for learning difficult technicalities.

TOPICS OF INSTRUCTION WILL INCLUDE:

  • Development of Social Network Between Cultures.
  • Risk Analysis of New Partnership and Market.
  • Understanding Government Structures in Canada and the Countries of Africa
  • Relationships Between Canada and Individual African Countries
  • Trading Guidelines Between African Countries and Canada
  • Electronic Communication Facilities Between Canada and Countries in Africa
  • Internet Search Engine Capabilities to Assist in Promoting Business Between Canada and the Countries in Africa.

THREE: EDCR 1003: Entrepreneurial Dynamics Of Cida Resources.

This course is designed to summarize information on Cida programs for assisting the private sector communities in Canada and the Countries of Africa to succeed at developing trade between the two communities.

The course attempts to make it easy for the members of the two communities to understand the policy statements of governments and to gain easy access to important information.

TOPICS OF INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDE:

  • Cida’s Mandate and Policy Statements on African Trade Development Agenda.
  • Which Countries, Companies and Individuals in Canada and Africa qualify for what program(s)
  • Which Cida Offices in Canada Provide the Private Sector With Information on Programs For Trade Development in the Various Parts of Africa.
  • Where are Cida Offices in Africa Located and What Type of Services Do They Provide to Assist Trade Development Between Canada and the Countries of Africa.

FOUR: EDEDC 1004: Entrepreneurial Dynamics Of Export Development Canada Resources.

This course is designed to examine the aspects of EDC’S programs that provide support to Trade Development activities between Canada and the Countries of Africa.

Statistics on the flow of traffic for specific service and product lines will be examined.

TOPICS OF INSTRUCTION INCLUDE:

  • Identification of the type and volume of services and products being exported to the Countries of Africa will be discussed.
  • Reasons for the level of traffic flow for exports to the various Countries in Africa will also be discussed.

FIVE: EDTFO 1005: Entrepreneurial Dynamics of the Trade Facilitation Office Programs for the Countries in Africa.

This course will examine TFOC’s efforts to promote Trade between Canada and the Countries in Africa.

The examination will include analysis of the specific trade promotion tools being employed to improve Canada’s share of the African Market.

TOPIC OF INSTRUCTION INCLUDE:

  • How to identify the market target audience in the various African Countries for specific Services and products.
  • Reaching the target audience and the creation of demand for services and products in the various Counties in Africa.

SIX: EDCCC 1006: Entrepreneurial Dynamics of Canadian Commercial Corporation Programs for Countries in Africa.

This course is designed to provide information on the activities of the CCC Services and its mandate to assist the Canadian Private Sector in the management of foreign investment risk factor.

TOPICS OF INSTRUCTION INCLUDE:

  • Types of services provided by the CCC
  • Who qualifies for CCC Services
  • Costs of accessing CCC services
  • Examination of CCC Services compare to Similar Private Financial Institutions.

SEVEN: EDATDB 1007: Entrepreneurial Dynamics of African Trade Development Banks Program for Global Trade.

This course is designed to provide information on the programs of African Trade Development Banks aimed at assisting to improve Global Trade with the Countries in Africa.

TOPICS OF INSTRUCTION INCLUDE:

  • The roles of African Trade Development Banks. Specifically, the roles of The Africa Development Bank and The PTA Bank of Eastern and Southern Africa.
  • Conditions for using the services of the African Trade Development Banks.

EIGHT: EDFAIT: 1008: Entrepreneurial Dynamics of the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Programs.

This course is designed to summarize the aspects of DFAIT programs aimed at assisting in the development of Trade between Canada and the Countries of Africa.

The instructions will discuss the presence and the lack of DFAIT Services in the various Countries of Africa.

TOPICS OF INSTRUCTION INCLUDE:

  • Summary of DFAIT Africa Trade Development Programs
  • The Presence and the lack of DFAIT programs in each of the 54 Countries in Africa.
  • Who qualifies to benefit from DFAIT Programs
  • How to gain easy access to DFAIT Programs

NINE: EDIAP: 1009: Entrepreneurial Dynamics International Assistance Programs.

This course is designed to identify the International Assistance Programs aimed at Global Trade Development resources for improving economic growth in the Countries of Africa.

World Bank, the Commonwealth and Private Foundation programs are example of programs cited in the curricula.

TOPICS OF INSTRUCTION INCLUDE:

  • Summary of World Bank resources aimed at Trade development activities in the Countries of Africa.
  • Summary of the Commonwealth resources aimed at Trade Development activities in the Countries of Africa
  • Bill Gate Foundation aimed at intellectual development of the Youth.
  • Other Programs

TEN: EDCSC: 110 Entrepreneurial Dynamics Capstone Course for Youth Development.

This course is designed to help educate and train Canadian and the Countries of Africa Youth to become familiar with the African Trade development initiatives.

Consequently, the youth will be given the opportunity to play a role in the delivery of the Entrepreneurial Dynamics Curricula.

TOPICS OF INSTRUCTION INCLUDE:

  • Summary of the Entrepreneurial Dynamics Program of Study.
  • Identifying the programs of Study Courses with the potential of promoting trade development activities in the Countries of Africa
  • Identify University and College Youth whose program of study is related to the entrepreneurial Dynamics Program of Study
  • Involving the youth in the delivery of the Entrepreneurial Program Curricula

ELEVEN: EDCBD: 111 Entrepreneurial Dynamics Capacity Building Development.

This course is designed to assist decision makers in Government and Business develop linkages between Human Resource Capacity and utilization of Scarce Resources to achieve success at Government and Business operations

The course examines the technological environment in which Government and Business operations can be maximized.

The course also develops linkages between Technology, Human Resource Development and the allocation of Scarce Resources to harness the factors of production and service delivery to improve efficiency.

The course identifies the criteria for monitoring improvement through integration of Technology, Human Resource development and efficient allocation of scarce resources.
