MISSION STATEMENT AND CURRICULA:

MISSION STATEMENT:

The mandate of the CSADT is to build a network of intervention measures to address the development and trade constraints between the Countires of Africa and Canadian stakeholders including private firms, government agencies and NGOs.

The focus of the CSADT is to enhance the knowledge, skills and the abilities of small and medium enterprise businesses in the Countries of Africa by building linkages between investors in Canada and Africa.

GOALS:

The CSADT will identify the broad range of stakeholders and collaborate their roles in the effort to maximize development and trade between the Countries of Africa (COA) and Canada by providing the following services:

CURRICULA OF SERVICES:

  • The central source of information provider expertise on economic rated development and trade.
  • An independent source of information where Canadian and African private sector and NGOs can be better informed on Canadian and International Development and Trade programs for Africa.
  • The facilities for Research and Development in the Countries of Africa so that all small and medium enterprise businesses are familiar with entrepreneurial practices in Canada and other western countries.
  • Public awareness in Canada regarding trade and development opportunities in the Countries of Africa.
  • An opportunity for local African business initiatives to learn about the entrepreneurship tendencies in the Canadian business community.
  • Inromation regarding appropriate investment conditions for the flow of Private Sector Resources to develop the Countries of Africa.
  • Opportunities to establish linkages between Local African Initiatives and Canadian Private sector Investment resources.
  • CIDA and other International Development Agencies with non-biased advice on the efficient allocation of their respective resources for development and trade in the Countries of Africa.
